Ranked number five in the country for golf courses, Old Greenwood Golf Course is a Jack Nicklaus-designed course. The 18-hole course is very challenging, with scenic views of surrounding nature and upscale dining options.

The Old Greenwood Pool & Fitness Center is home to all sorts of activities ranging from a full weight room and aerobics center, a children’s playroom, spa treatment rooms, a game room, and an outdoor swimming pool and aquatics playground. It is ideal for spending the day with the whole family.
If parents want to take the day off and have their children entertained, the Kid’s Club at Old Greenwood is the perfect solution. The club has four programs for different age groups during the summer, including Happy Campers for toddlers and elementary-level children, Junior Counselor Camp for pre-teens, Big Adventurer for ages 10 to 15, and Drop Off at Kid’s Camp for children ages four to 12. These programs offer diverse activities for children to have fun while their parents are away or working.
A quaint yet exciting option for a weekend adventure is going to the Truckee River Regional Park. This park features a playground, skate park, barbecue station, tennis courts, ball fields, and hiking trails for people of all ages to enjoy.
